Photography Pictures/New Blog

For awhile I have had the pictures I have taken in hopes of becoming a professional on this blog. I have started and new one in hopes that this one is strictly a family blog. The new one is rachelboyerpics.blogspot.com. I hope to get it all organized and pictures back up in a couple of days (which for me means about a week.) :) I have had some recent shoots and some more to come. Keep looking:)

Our New Puppy

Nathan has wanted a dog OOOOOOO so very badly. As many of you know, we had one about a year ago and it didn't go so well. I was very hesitant to consider another dog especially since we didn't know where we were going to be in the next year. After Nathan graduated, it took us awhile to realize that Nathan actually had free time. After that sunk in, I thought we might as well get one. He could be there to take care of it and I wouldn't have to be in charge of it although I knew that he would still be working long hours so some would fall on me. It is a good thing he is so cute because a puppy is a lot of work!

I surprised Nathan for Christmas with the permission to get a new addition to our family. We were in Utah and were able to find one that we wanted there. He travelled home with us and did a really well. He is a full breed lab and is going to be HUGE! We had a really hard time naming him. He actually just barely got a name about 2 weeks ago although we got him on January 5th. We were in the car with my Aunt Becky and Gramo and they thought we should think about the things about him. They brought up where he was from. That is what did it and we fell in love with his new name. Of course it has to sound all official and important to go on his pedigree chart. Captain River Ton III. He was born in Riverton, UT. So we call him River or Rivvy or Riv. Or .... Just kidding. :) We love him. He really is a good dog. So smart. Nathan starts his training next Thursday and is really excited about it. He will get his final shots in about 1 month and then we can take him on walks, to the park, and to pick Taylor up from school. Here are a couple of pictures. They are when he was really young. I will post some more recent ones and you can see the difference. he has grown sooo much! They do that I guess.:)
