YES, WEARE ALIVE!!!!!
I know it has been almost 2 years since we actually checked up with people and we miss most of you and hope to hear from you soon! When people say we have been busy, I really am serious. Nathan has changed jobs 3 times, we've bought a house, had a very stressful pregnancy and labor, moved to a different state then moved again all in about 1 1/2 yrs time. Not to mention the other small things like loosing my wedding ring, Nathan crashing another card, and our new house's basement was flooded. MMMMM what else has happened. You got a week? Well the most wonderful thing of it all is our sweet little girl. She was born on May 11th 2010 only 3 days before my due date which was a miracle. Thanks to progesterone. We still had many trips to hospital because of constant contractions and bleeding. but after all that I was able to have a VBAC!!! Yes no C-sections for me! I was soo happy. I had to have progesterone injections and pills the whole time so I was completely emotional. Her name is Elillian Janett Boyer and was 5 lbs 14 oz little like my boys. We call her Lily but she can choose to be called Lily, Elly or Elillian. It was Nathans great great grandmothers name and she was a great women just like I know Lily will be. There is 4 years between her and Brennan and I felt like a new mother. I think they did too because of how emotional I was. She was perfectly healthy and is so sweet and loving and just a joy. Nathan just loves her and she prefers him to any other.
Nathan is doing so good. He works for Jordan Valley Hospital that has connections to Pioneer and Salt Lake Regional. He is on the float team and they just love him over there. Who wouldn't. He is probably changing his major again and yes we ahve more school but this way we can stay in the home while he works and goes to school. He is Sunday School President and is realizing what an easy job and hopes it stays:). I am finally feeling better to start back into what I love which is photography. I will be putting up some shoots but felt guilty not updating this first then that. I am the choir director. Yes you can laugh but the chior director. I think it had something to do with me working with one of the bishoprics wife on the Musical with directing and choreographing for the elementary school, which was soooo fun and I hope to do it again next year. Just a thought although I know its called from God and I actually am really enjoying it. Our ward is only a couple of years old and hasnnever had a chior so I have some pretty eager participants.
Our house has just been waiting for us to move into. We've already heard 2 stories of people who tried to get in but for some reason they couldn't and it was a breeze for us. We live in Lehi and the home was built in 2003 and is about 2700 square feet. It is a great starter home. It is just south of Thanksgiving Point on the west side of the freeway in those Ivory homes. There is nothing behind us and we have such great views of the mountains. You can actually see our house from the freeway. Long ways out but it is visible. Anyone is more than welcome to visit and we have lots of rooms and spare bedrooms (hopefully finishing the basement soon) We have one bedroom downstairs that is finished with a huge family room finished. So three upstairs so 4 total.
We are actually going camping with some of our new friends and feel so lucky and excited. Even with all the bad, we feel so lucky. We really miss all our friends. We actually just got a visit from Carol Barrett and her family and we just loved them and it brought back so many good memories and some bad but its a good thing we are long over those. Its so late and I have more to do with pics. Heidi, you went private and I need an invite:). Love to all! We are actually coming to Fresno in October for a wedding and would love to see as many as possible. Luv to all! Here are some pics. I am putting some up on the other blog too.

It's a GIRL!!!!!!
Wow! We are soooo excited! Ok so most didn't know I was pregnant but we wanted to keep it on the down low because of past pregnancies. Moving was NOT fun and I don't know what I would have done if my Mother and Mother in law wasn't there!
I am almost 21 weeks and due on May 14th. I was down for the first 4 1/2 months because of almost losing the baby in the first little bit. They put me on a hormone pill that seemed to do the trick. Who knew? Well most know me as very hormonal...:) I am now on progesterone injections and seem to be doing pretty good. I just had my 20 week ultrasound and the baby looks healthy and is growing on track. With Bren and Tay, I went into labor around 25 weeks so we are hoping that the injections keep that away. I am not on bedrest but you definitely won't see me on the slopes or even grocery shopping much. Its been scary and we really are hoping for the best. I have even dared to think about buying girl clothes.:) We were looking at these beautiful blessing dresses and I am really starting to get excited! She will be really spoiled!!! We already have a name picked out that we are very excited about. Its a secret!:)
We feel so blessed to be where we are and in the situation we are. Utah is beautiful when it snows but VERY cold. Nathan has a great job, we are loving being by our family and we are getting our girl! We are so thankful for everything!
I will be putting some Christmas pictures up soon and hopefully sending out our New Years card. Ya, a little late..... Story of my life.:)

4Th of July
I guess I am just in the mood to blog because here I go again. I probably should have put the 4th first since it actually came first but just wanted to put in a couple of pics. We went swimming at Mariannes and had a BBQ. Then went to Lauren and Laels for watching and letting off fireworks. We had a blast! Our last one in Fresno. As the move comes closer, the more we realize the time we have spent here and are really sad. Not sad enough because we are still moving.:) Nathan has actually already had interviews and such. We are excited!! Four seasons!!!
Lake Powell and Surprise!
So July seems like it was forever long ago but it really wasn't. It just seems that way because so much has happened. Like we are FINALLY moving!!! Yeah! Back to Utah of course. Those of you who have known us for a while now, know that this decisions was years in the making with many false alarms. Well it is true now! Anyone want to buy or rent a home? Just call and I will give you the specs. Why Utah you ask? Well as most of you know I am from Utah. But, it is actually Nathan who has been pushing the most to return. His parents bought a house in Springville and we both can't wait to be with them. My family is there in South Jordan still and making up their house as we speak so we can invade their space. That will be our new home for a while. We would love to buy a home and are soooooo ready for it but some things need to work out so that can happen.
We went to Lake Powell in July, an annual Wood family vacation that we have missed for the past 7 years. We had sooooooooooo much fun. We had a boathouse and man did that make things soo much easier. I have some pictures of Nathan knee boarding I am going to put up, taken by moi of course. Also some of the kids and my Mom. I would like to put some others up as well but might not be able to till later.

Summer Garden Party
As most of you know, I LOVE to throw parties. This was our first ever Summer Garden Party and for all those who didn't come, you missed out:) We had a lot of fun. Probably the best part for me was decorating and getting ready. It just so happened we had it on that weekend that was sooooo hot! That was the bad part. I went to all that trouble and everyone was inside! I really don't blame them, it was HOT. When we move, we are going to miss this yard. We thought when we first moved in that we would never have a yard this big again, but have changed our minds. It is worth it. We have just enjoyed it. BTW, the house will be rented soon and we are looking for renters. Let us know:)
It was fun to take pictures of the party, especially at night. Sorry they don't have a lot of people in them but I really did love the decorations so had to take pictures.

Taylors Tball #9
Taylor had so much fun playing. Sometimes he was more interested in the bugs on the ground then playing. We have a scientist I think. Smart like his Dad. Usually on tball, they only let them run one base after a hit. The last game they let them hit the ball and then run the bases as far as they could go before they got them out (although they would never get out) , just like in real baseball and Taylor hit 2 homeruns!!! He is a great hitter. Taylor says he will definitly be playing baseball next year. He is excited because we told him that if he chooses to play for awhile, we would get him all the "stuff" for baseball like a bag, bat, helmet and all that good expensive stuff. I can't believe I have a son old enough to play tball. It is only the start I am told.:)

Finally!
OK so my other blog is up and running and I would like to invite you all to see it. rachelboyerpics.blogspot.com. I know a lot of people that watch this blog do not have access to comment but I would really love those who do to let me know what you think. Really. I am just starting and need all the help I can get. Also, any of you in need of a photographer hint hint, OK so not much of a hint, but I'm telling you I would love the opportunity to take your picture! If you know someone who is in need of a more than eager photographer, give them my number:) All you new mommies/almost new mommies, give me a call. First come first serve to a FREE photographer! After that, the fee is $25.:) Cheap, I know! Yuck, I sound like an infomercial! I should feel ashamed but I don't because I really love to take pictures and am eager to be on my way. Hehehe Love to all!:)
Love My Boys!
I have some pictures of the boys that are sooo cute. I thought I would share....
I really can't believe how fast they are growing up! My sister in law put on her blog a letter her children wrote to her friend who's daughter was just hit by a car. It broke my heart and made me realize what I have. They both are so special to me and I don't know why I am not just soaking up my time with them! It is so easy to get lost in everyday things and forget. I guess it is these times that little things, little reminders, help us out. I am so sorry for that little girl and her family. The mother is someone I admire and that is just from reading some of her blog; I don't know her personally. She has so many posts about her two cute girls and what a blessing they are to her.
I took these at my Gramos up by Sacramento. Although they are 2 1/2 yrs apart, they play so well with each other. They fight well with each other too! but are so sweet. :) After we got our dog, I realized that I am really surrounded by testosterone! I guess it is time for a little girl..... Ok I will just have to settle for, I don't know a cat or something.:) Anybody got a cat?

Son of Rambow
OK so Nathan and I saw this film advertised on a movie we rented recently and thought it would be funny. Well, it WAS!!!! This film is laugh out loud funny, entertaining and clean! (still rated PG-13 though, you'll see what I mean) It has slapstick humor, witty humor and the dab your eye scenes. As soon as it was over I wanted to tell whoever I could so I thought I would put it on my blog. It is about two young boys, one is very religious and the other a troublemaker. They end up making this film together while sneaking around and becoming great friends. Now, if we are behind the times like we usually are, then just ignore this. If not, then this is a must see. Our gift to you:)

Photography Pictures/New Blog
For awhile I have had the pictures I have taken in hopes of becoming a professional on this blog. I have started and new one in hopes that this one is strictly a family blog. The new one is rachelboyerpics.blogspot.com. I hope to get it all organized and pictures back up in a couple of days (which for me means about a week.) :) I have had some recent shoots and some more to come. Keep looking:)
Our New Puppy
Nathan has wanted a dog OOOOOOO so very badly. As many of you know, we had one about a year ago and it didn't go so well. I was very hesitant to consider another dog especially since we didn't know where we were going to be in the next year. After Nathan graduated, it took us awhile to realize that Nathan actually had free time. After that sunk in, I thought we might as well get one. He could be there to take care of it and I wouldn't have to be in charge of it although I knew that he would still be working long hours so some would fall on me. It is a good thing he is so cute because a puppy is a lot of work!
I surprised Nathan for Christmas with the permission to get a new addition to our family. We were in Utah and were able to find one that we wanted there. He travelled home with us and did a really well. He is a full breed lab and is going to be HUGE! We had a really hard time naming him. He actually just barely got a name about 2 weeks ago although we got him on January 5th. We were in the car with my Aunt Becky and Gramo and they thought we should think about the things about him. They brought up where he was from. That is what did it and we fell in love with his new name. Of course it has to sound all official and important to go on his pedigree chart. Captain River Ton III. He was born in Riverton, UT. So we call him River or Rivvy or Riv. Or .... Just kidding. :) We love him. He really is a good dog. So smart. Nathan starts his training next Thursday and is really excited about it. He will get his final shots in about 1 month and then we can take him on walks, to the park, and to pick Taylor up from school. Here are a couple of pictures. They are when he was really young. I will post some more recent ones and you can see the difference. he has grown sooo much! They do that I guess.:)

Our Family Pictures
Something Kacey said about Taylor was that he smiled with his eyes. Something I completley agree on!
As you can see, Brennan was not in good spirits!:)
OOOOOO Sexy!
We went to Utah over the New Year and decided to get our pictures taken. My sister in law had hers done by this photographer and we loved them so asked if we could steal her. Her name is Kacey Perry. She lives in Utah and is great! Let me know if you need her info. We really wanted some snow pictures along with some fun family ones. Brennan decided not to cooperate and we thought the session a total failure. I received the pictures in the mail yesterday and LOVE them. We didn't get certain ones of just the boys together or some of the other family ones we wanted but what we did get is some we didn't expect to. As many of you know, I am starting my own photography business and my style is more photojournalism, non posed. We got some of those! I am trying to rearrange my blog and make it more organized and move my photography to my blog, which is, rachelboyerpics.blogspot.com. I am yet to succeed due to our new puppy chewing on my laptop cord. Yes we got a puppy. I will be posting those picutres as well. Anyways, I really wanted to get these pictures up for all to see. I am trying to figure out this technical stuff so it will probably look ugly for awhile.
Taylor did a fantastic job getting his picture taken. Brennan had his moments. I also wanted individuals of Nathan and me. Not to pursue our modeling careers but to put mine on my blog and well we just dont have enough of Nathan. Here are a few and I will post a few more later.
As you can see, Brennan was not in good spirits!:)
